MAC for Windows 2000
Multiband utilizes the MAC address from your equipment to provide a method of authentication. The MAC address is used for security reasons because it is unique to each individual networking device. The subsequent information will inform you how to locate the MAC address.
Finding a Mac Address Network Card in Windows 2000
- Click Start, then click Run.
- In the Run dialog box, type in "command" or "cmd".
- In the MS DOS prompt window, type "ipconfig/all".
- The MAC address is listed as the Physical Address in the section labeled Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection.
