- Call DIRECTV at 1-888-DTV-MOVE as soon as you know your new address and move-in date. This will allow time to schedule your new installation and have your favorite programs up and running as soon as possible!
- Make sure we have your contact phone number where we can reach you on the day of the installation.
- Pack up your receivers and remote controls and bring them to your new home. A DIRECTV technician will install a new dish and hook up your receivers, TV, DVD players, etc. at NO charge.*
- Electricity must be turned on and all TVs must be present in your new home before your installation appointment.
- Someone who is at least 18 years old and authorized to sign for work performed must be home during the entire installation.
- If you live in an apartment or condo, you must have Landlord or HOA permission. The US Government limits the restrictions that homeowners associations and other local groups can place on satellite equipment installations. Visit www.directv.com/fcc to find out more.
- Moving to your new home is a great time to enhance your television experience. You can sample new channels, upgrade your equipment or add additional equipment, or get HD. Make sure to ask your DIRECTV Movers Agent for special promotions, upgrades and more when you call 1-888-DTV-MOVE.
- DIRECTV has the most channels in HD. Donąt miss out! If you purchased an HD Television, make sure to mention this when you call to place your move order.
